Flights and Air Desk Coordinator
This position is accountable for assisting clients with flight bookings and related inquiries through our flights Call Centre, the internet and email. Hours of work for the Flights/Air Desk Coordinator include various shifts, weekends and general holidays.
What you'll do:
- Process and issue all internet flight bookings, exchanges and re-book clients if required
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding flights through email and telephone and assist customers with questions including baggage, documentation required and seat selection
- Sell insurance and vendor products and manage the coordination of car and hotel bookings
- Advise and assist clients with payment options,
- Assist agents with pricing as required
- Send invoices and e-tickets to clients
- Communicate with 3rd party vendors and tour operators as necessary
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Who you are:
- Must be TICO certified
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work rotating shifts (24/7) including weekends and holidays
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Exceptional problem solving, organizational and prioritizing skills
- Attention to detail, data entry accuracy and speed
- Experience with Sabre GDS required and Clientlinq Amadeus knowledge an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
