- Airlines can modify flights at any time without prior notice. While this is a frustrating situation, it is normal and unfortunately out of the hands of any travel agency like redtag.ca.
- We always recommend checking your itinerary 72 hours before the departure date for any unexpected changes.
- If there has been an unexpected change to your flight you will receive an email with the details of the change. There is no action needed unless the modification has greatly impacted your travel. If action is needed, simply follow the instructions in the email.
-
- When cancelling a flight, it is important to know the airline's rules and policies. Cancellation policies are specific to the airline and apply at all times.
- Some flights may be eligible for same-day cancellations, while other flights may allow for cancellation options up until your travel date.
- If you cancel a non-refundable flight, you may be eligible for FTV or FTC instead (needs to be confirmed with airline policies and rules).
- Airline fees and penalties may apply, as well as redtag.ca handling fees. Any applicable fees and penalties will be advised and shown before confirming cancellation.
- If a refund is eligible, we will immediately initiate the refund process.
- With the high volume of flight cancellations, some airlines experience processing delays of 8-10 weeks. Once your refund is processed, your financial institution may take up to 7 business days to issue the credit to your account and up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to show on your statement. Processing times are outside of our control and your patience is greatly appreciated.
